CMOS 3D COMPASS
OVERVIEW
BLBC3-D MONOLITHIC CMOS 3D ELECTRONIC COMPASS FOR MOBILE APPLICATIONS
The BLBC3 is a monolithic CMOS 3-axis electronic compass and magnetometer leveraging Baolab's patented NanoEMS™ technology.
The chip contains integrated 3D self-calibrating magnetic sensors, analog and digital processing circuitry, A/D convertors and a configurable digital interface.
By arithmetically processing the values measured by the 3-axis sensors with an external processor, the magnetic heading can be obtained.
